Kada, Klaus#
b. Leibnitz (Styria), Dec. 20, 1940, architect. Studied at the Graz University of Technology from 1961-1971, opened his own office in Leibnitz in 1976 and another in Graz in 1988; since 1995 professor at the Technische Hochschule in Aachen. His work is characterised by formal austerity, emphasis on structure and transparency, and the liberal use of glass surfaces and steel constructions.

Mitterling, Bad Radkersburg 1978-1982; surveyor's office Leibnitz,
1988; glass museum, Baernbach, 1988; students' residence WIST, Graz
1989; research and development centre Leykam, Grathorn 1990 (all in
Styria); Festspielhaus St.Poelten, 1992-1997. - private homes,
communal housing complexes.
