Kastelic, Jacob#
b. Vienna, Jan. 4, 1897, d. Vienna (executed), Aug. 2, 1944, studied law. Prominent official of the Christian Social Party and in organisations of the corporative state. After the invasion of Austria by Hitler's troops he founded the independence movement "Gross-oesterreichische Freiheitsbewegung", which aimed at the restoration of Austria. In the summer of 1940 he was arrested with some of his comrades and sentenced to death on March 1, 1944.
