Katholische Jugend Österreichs, KJÖ#
Katholische Jugend Oesterreichs, KJOe (Catholic Youth of Austria), is a specialized organisation of the Catholic Action in Austria. The KJOe was founded by the Austrian bishops in 1946, recruited its members from the parish youth groups that existed during World War II. The KJOe aims at spreading the Christian faith and developing young people´s dialogue with the church; it operates workshops, and its members are both young people who still go to school and others who are already at work. The Catholic Children´s Organisation (Katholische Jungschar) was founded in 1947, it addresses all children from 6 years on and is engaged in pastoral care and promoting a positive attitude towards children and their social needs.
