Kink, Franz#

b. Bozen/Bolzano (South Tyrol), Oct. 4, 1790, d. Kufstein (Tyrol), Nov. 18, 1862, industrialist. Worked in road maintenance, in 1842 started the first Austrian cement factory. His brother Martin K. (1800-1877), his son Anton K. (1820-1868) and his nephew Julius von K. (1848-1909) also made outstanding contributions in the field of cement manufacture.
