Kinsky, Franz Ulrich Graf#

Kinsky, Count Franz Ulrich, b. Chlumec, Czech Republic (then Chlumetz), 1634, d. Vienna, Feb. 27, 1699, diplomat and statesman. 1683 supreme Bohemian chancellor, 1689 member of the Secret Conference, from 1695 leading statesman at the Viennese Court. In the peace negotiations with the Turks pursued a tough expansionist policy.
