Klapotetz#

Klapotetz (from Slovene klopótec = rattle), windwheel mainly used in the wine growing regions of southern Styria mostly with 8 sails, a striking mechanism and a wind vane, producing a rhythmic clattering noise, used to chase away birds from the vineyards between July 25 (Jakobi) and November 11 ( Martini).
