Kleßheim#
Klessheim Palace, Baroque palace near Salzburg, in the municipality of Wals-Siezenheim. Built between 1700-1709 to plans by J. B. Fischer von Erlach for Archbishop Johann Ernst Thun von Salzburg, completed in 1732. Some buildings in and around the palace were built by famous Austrian architects, e.g. the Hoyos-Stoeckl by J. B. Fischer von Erlach in 1694, or the Kavalierhaus by H. Ferstl in 1880. In the park are sculptures from the 18th century; today a Casino and a School of Tourist Management are also located there.
