Klein, Johann Adam, b. Nuremberg (Germany), Nov. 24, 1792, d. Munich (Germany), May 21, 1875, painter and graphic artist. From 1811 lived in Vienna, where he mostly produced genre paintings; in his nature paintings he combined elements of realism and romanticism. From 1819 in Italy, from 1839 in Munich. Honorary member of the Wiener Kuenstlerhaus association of painters, sculptors and architects.
