Klopeiner See#

Klopein, Lake, Carinthia, alt. 446 m, 1.8 km long and 0.9 km wide, 48 m deep; warmest lake in Austria (up to 28°C/60°F), good water quality in the surface layer (bathing layer). The area around the lake, which is situated east of Klagenfurt (alt. 436 m), between the reservoir in Voelkermarkt to the north and the Lake Turn to the South, provides excellent services and infrastructure for tourists.
