Komarek, Alfred#

Komarek, Alfred, b. Bad Aussee (Styria), Oct. 5, 1945, journalist, author of non-fiction, essayist. His narrative work is dominated by absurd, fantastic and bizarre themes. Has written numerous essays on subjects relating to culture and history. From 1965 created TV and radio broadcasts for the Austrian broadcasting corporation and for companies abroad. Since 1980 has concentrated more on journalism, writing for Austrian and international newspapers and magazines (Geo, Globo, Parnass, "Die Presse", "Der Standard" etc.)
