Kornhaeusel, Josef Georg, b. Vienna, Nov. 13, 1782, d. Vienna, Oct. 31, 1860, architect, major exponent of Romantic Historicism . Constructed palaces, especially for the Lichtenstein family (residences in Eisgrub/Lednice, Czech Republic) and Archduke Karl (Weilburg near Baden, 1823, destroyed) and residential buildings for a varied middle-class clientele.
