Lafnitz#
Lafnitz, River, Styria, 114 km long northern tributary of River Raab, rises as Lafnitz Stream in the Joglland region of Styria. The River Lafnitz flows around the Vorauer Basin and constitutes the border between Styria and Burgenland from the municipality of Lafnitz (412 m) to the southern part of Rudersdorf (248 m), then it flows across the southern part of Burgenland and empties into the River Raab near Szentgotthárd on Hungarian territory. The River Feistritz joins the River Lafnitz from the west near Fuerstenfeld. The average water flow near Eltendorf amounts up to 15 m3/sec.
