Schools for Pastoral Workers, founded in Vienna after World War II, originally for the training of assistants in pastoral care; new tasks were given to these schools in 1972, since 1982 also training of pastoral assistants as a 4-year school. The Protestant women´s school for church and social services (3 years) founded in Vienna in 1918, pursues similar objectives.
