b. Vienna, June 30, 1882, d. Vienna, Oct. 9, 1949, author, literary historian and critic. 1899-1913 civil servant in the Ministry of Finance, then accountant for the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. Published literary criticism in L. von Ficker's "Der Brenner"; published the journal "Stimme aus Oesterreich"; in 1925 published "Ausgewaehlte Werke" ("Selected Works") by J. Nestroy.Friend of K.
