Lilienfelder Skifahrtechnik#
Lilienfeld Skiing Technique, also "Alpine skiing technique", gradually developed by M. Zdarsky from about 1890, characterised by stem christiania, a tendency to lean forward and the use of a high bamboo pole ("alpine lance", one-pole technique). It was the first systematically and methodically developed skiing technique on alpine (steep) terrain.
