Loacker, Norbert#
b. Altach, Vorarlberg, July 22, 1939, author and essayist. Secondary-school teacher in Zurich, Switzerland, first became known as an author on account of his philosophical-utopian novel "Aipotu" (1980), which, inspired by Thomas More's "Utopia", describes the experiment of a society without a power structure; his second novel "Die Vertreibung der Daemonen" (1984) has the liberation from totalitarian rule for its subject.
