Lueg, Pass#

Lueg Pass, province of Salzburg, alt. 552 m, gorge of the river Salzach between the Tennengebirge and Hagengebirge mountains, south of Golling. Potholes at the northern end, the so-called "Salzachoefen". The railway bypasses the narrow pass in a 928 m long tunnel, the Tauernautobahn motorway in 2 tunnels, and the pass road in a 112 m long summit tunnel. 1838 find from the late Bronze Age (crest helmet of embossed sheet metal).
