Lugner, Richard#

b. Vienna, Oct. 11, 1932, building contractor. 1962 licensed architect, specialised in the building of gas stations and renovation of old buildings. Continuous expansion of his company, which he passed on to his sons in 1999; important large-scale projects in Vienna (mosque, Lugner City Shopping Mall, etc.) and creation of a network of garages throughout the city. Founded an affiliate branch in Graz. Ran as presidential candidate in the presidential election of 1998 and in the election to the Nationalrat in 1999 (on the list "Die Unabhaengigen" - the independents, received 1.02% of all votes).
