Mills: In the period 1960-1994, the number of gristmills in Austria was reduced by legislative acts from about 1,000 enterprises to some 280, 50 of which have a market share of 84 % at present (1995). As the previously valid milling regulations were abolished at the end of 1994, further structural changes and even stronger concentrations are to be expected.
