Muellendorf, Burgenland, municipality in the district of Eisenstadt-Umgebung, alt. 232 m, pop. 1,224, area 12.80 km2, at the south-western foot of the Leithagebirge mountains, west of Eisenstadt. - Richest chalk deposits of Europe; chalk factory, bookbinding shop; first documented mention 1271, toll-gate in the Middle Ages. - Neo-Gothic parish church (1904/05); Johannes Nepomuk Chapel (18th century).
