Maria Anna, Erzherzogin von Österreich#
b. Vienna, Oct. 6, 1738, d. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Oct. 19, 1789, Archduchess of Austria, eldest daughter of Maria Theresia. Remained unmarried due to deformity, from 1766 abbess of the Convent for Ladies in Prague; moved to Klagenfurt in 1781, where she surrounded herself with scholars and freemasons. She left many keepsakes of her parents to the Elisabethine Convent in Klagenfurt.
