Matz, Johanna#
b. Vienna, Oct. 5, 1932, Kammerschauspielerin. Studied, amongst others, with Helene Thimig-Reinhardt, ballet with T. Birkmeyer and G. Wiesenthal, at the Vienna Musikhochschule* and at the drama school "Reinhardt-Seminar" in Vienna. 1950 engagement at the Burgtheater, guest performances at the Bregenz Festival ("Bregenzer Festspiele") and Burgtheater tours (amongst others to the USA). 1951 film debut, discovered by E. Marischka. From the late 1960s mostly in TV productions (Marianne in Oe. von Horváth's "Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald"). Retired from the stage at the beginning of the 1980s.
