Mayer, Emil#

b. Nový Bydžov, Czech Republic (then Neubydžow), Oct. 3, 1871, d. Vienna, June 8, 1938 (committed suicide), lawyer and amateur photographer. Photos of the Vienna Prater in 1908, developed an optical exposure meter ("Justophot"), dealt with artistic photography, with bromide oil printing and wrote several books on photography.
