Meister A. A#
Meister A. A. (Master A. A.), painter of the Danube School, worked in the 1st quarter of the 16th century in Upper Austria, probably came from Wels, named after the painting of the deceased Emperor Maximilian I dating from 1519, which was monogrammed with the letters "A. A." (exhibited at the Joanneum in Graz). Further works have been preserved in Kremsmuenster (Upper Austria) and in the Joanneum in Graz (altar from Grossreifling, 1518).
