Nature Parks in Austria, special areas in Austria that enjoy legal privileges on grands of their extraordinary flora and fauna or outstanding landscape:
Lower Austria: Blockheide/Eibenstein bei Gmuend ("Wobbling Stones",
forms of weathered granite), Dobersberg/Thayatal (riverine meadow
landscape in the Northern Waldviertel area; game preserve with fallow
deer and wild boar, only fern trail in Austria, collection of minerals
and insects in Dobersberg castle), oak grove near Klosterneuburg
(fruit trail), pine-tree mountains (west of Moedling), Gamsstein
Alpine footlands at Hollenstein/Ypps (Alpine foreland), Geras bei Horn
(game preserve with wild boar, red deer and aurochs, Hohe Wand near

Steiermark: Grebenzen (at the Carinthian border; important
intermediate stop for migratory birds), Poellauer Tal Valley near
