Neuhaus an der Donau, Upper Austria, small rural settlement in the district of Rohrbach im Muehlkreis, alt. 428m, situated on the north bank of the River Danube, cadastral district of the market town St. Martin im Muehlkreis. Large and well-preserved castle (first documented mention in 1282), present structure from 1554-1564 by D. d´Allio, alterations in the 2nd half of the 17th century with five-sided Gothic keep, fine interior.
