Neukirchen an der Enknach, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Braunau, alt. 411m, pop. 2,107, area 33.30 km2, at the edge of the Lachforst forest to the south of Braunau am Inn. - Construction enterprise, rock plant, aluminium products (part of the AMAG concern), wood processing. - Parish church (hall church with 2 naves from the 15th century), high altar (1665), Gothic wooden crucifix (around 1510-1515), Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary (around 1460-1470), late-Gothic figure relief "Death of Mary" (beginning 16th century); Gothic ossuary chapel; Sebastianskapelle chapel (1771).
