Neumann von Wasserleonburg, Anna#

Neumann von Wasserleonburg, Anna, b. Villach (Carinthia), 1535, d. Murau (Styria), Dec. 18, 1623. Six marriages left her with a considerable fortune; made a business of lending money to the imperial family and to citizens of Murau. Being a Protestant she was denied a grave in the local parish church; thus a recess was built so that her head would rest outside.
