Neuwaldegg#
Neuwaldegg, part of Vienna´s 17th district at the edge of the Vienna woods, formerly a part of Dornbach and called "Oberes Gut" (or "Oberdornbach"); since 1890/92 westernmost part of the 17th district, wooded area with fashionable residential houses. Hills: Hameau (alt. 472 m), Heuberg (463 m), Schwarzenberg Castle (constructed around 1715, now seat of the Catholic Bildungshaus educational institute run by the vicariate of Vienna, former Meierei dairy farm and Neuwaldegger Park (laid-out by Count F. M. in the 18th century Lacy, now owned by the City of Vienna). Bus connections to the northern Vienna woods. Lacy memorial, Marswiese meadow.
