Niederndorf, Tirol, municipality in the district of Kufstein, alt. 500 m, pop. 2,148 (1981: 1,856), area 7.21 km2, summer tourism (54,042 overnight stays) in the Lower Inntal valley north of Kufstein at the Bavarian border. - Customs post and customs office, Wildbichl game preserve (neighbouring municipality: Niederndorferberg); electronics industry with research centre, building enterprises, dye-stuff manufacturing, wood processing. - Baroque parish church, hall church (1685) with Gothic west tower, ceiling frescoes by J. A. Moelk (1756), high altar with baroque statues (1680), Gothic cemetery chapel (1518) with wall paintings (16th century) and late-Gothic keystones with relief heads. (around 1460); Mariahilf pilgrimage church (1776-1778) on Hechenberg hill.
