Olmützer Punktation#
Olmuetz, Punctation of, agreement between Austria and Prussia signed on November 29, 1850. In the Punctation of Olmuetz, Prussia renounced its hegemonic claims in Germany and the Deutscher Bund of 1815, badly shaken in the Revolution of 1848, was reinstated and presided over by Austria. Prussia considered the treaty a loss of prestige. The result was an aggravation of differences between Austria and Prussia.
