Parking Space Management includes all activities designed to control the availability and use of parking space, e.g. limitation of parking time, parking fees, special regulations for certain groups (e.g. parking permits for local residents) and supervision of compliance with these regulations. In recent years one of the main activities in this field has been the introduction of short-term parking spaces in Vienna and the capitals of the other provinces.
