Piatnik, Ferdinand, & Soehne, Playing card factory, founded 1844 in Vienna by Ferdinand Piatnik. Well known is the Viennese Vedutentarock showing views and street scenes. Furthermore they produce playing cards for grown-ups and children, board games, and puzzles. Today one of the world's foremost playing card producers, the main location still being in Vienna. Branches are in Budapest, Prague, Moenchengladbach and New Canaan (USA). In 2002 they had 160 employees, a turnover of 26 Mio Euro, and an export ratio of more than 90%.
