Pillersdorf, Franz Freiherr von#
b. Brno, Czech Republic (then Bruenn), March 1, 1786, d. Vienna, Feb. 22, 1862, studied law, politician and estate owner. 1842-1848 court chancellor, as a liberal opponent of Metternich during the 1848 March Revolution became Minister of the Interior, wrote the "Pillersdorf Constitution" in April 1848. May 4 - July 8, 1848, also Minister-President, from 1861 member of the Reichsrat and chairman of the Finance Committee.
