Pleier, der#
Pleier, der; poet from the second half of the 13th century; lived in Austria/Bavaria. His family name ("The enameller") is documented in Salzburg but his place of residence cannot be determined. He wrote three comprehensive Arthurian novels: "Garel von dem bluehenden Tal", "Tandareis und Flordibel" and "Meleranz", where he imitates the already existing narrative elements and motives of the classic Arthurian novel.
