Polsterer, Ludwig#

b. Vienna, March 31, 1927, d. Abano Terme (Italy), April 15, 1979, newspaper publisher. Editor and co-owner (50 %) of the newspaper "Neuer Kurier" (formerly "Wiener Kurier"), which he took over from the American occupying power on October 18, 1954. From 1958 until the "Kurier" was sold on July 3, 1972, P. was the only owner and editor. On March 17, 1958, in the course of the "Vienna Newspaper War" he also took over the "Bildtelegraf" newspaper, which shut down on July 23, 1958.
