Postranecky, Helene Hella, verehelichte Altmann#

b. Vienna, March 12, 1903, d. Vienna, Jan. 5, 1995, politician (Austrian Communist Party, KPOe); wife of Karl Altmann. Between the World Wars functionary of the Social Democratic Workers´ Party (SDAP), in April 1945 nominated by the KPOe for Renner´s provisional government, from April 27 to Dec. 20, 1945, subordinate staatssekretaerin for public nutrition. Left the KPOe following the suppression of the Prague Spring in 1968.
