Preding#

Preding, Styria, market town in the district of Deutschlandsberg, alt. 335 m, pop. 1,573, area 18.21 km2, on the Predingbach stream, in the vicinity of its confluence with the Lassnitz River. Transformer station; wood-processing industry, vehicle construction, soft fruit cultivation. - Heilige Maria in Dorn parish church and pilgrimage church (reconstructed in 1699 and 1743) with Rococo altars; Spiegelteich fishpond owned by the company Tobis KG.
