Pux#

Pux, Styria, hamlet in the municipality of Murau, situated on the Mur River within the municipality of Frojach-Katsch. -Neues Schloss castle (1911), castle chapel built from undressed and dressed (ashlar) stone, with a Renaissance coffered ceiling and frescoes (13th century); free standing late Gothic castle ruins, defensive fortifications consisting of two parts (12th century), organ (1693). Puxer Luegg and Schallaun, two medieval castles hewn into the face of the Puxer Wand and equipped with defensive terraces.
