Rader-Soulek, Grete#

Rader-Soulek, Grete, b. Vienna, Nov. 4, 1920, d. Vienna, Dec. 14, 1997, textile artist, painter and designer. Studied at the Academy of Applied Art in Vienna with O. Haerdtl, taught at the Fashion School of the City of Vienna at Hetzendorf from 1947 to 1959 and was in charge of the master class for decorative design and textiles (later called master class for tapestry) at the Vienna University of Applied Art from 1959 to 1988. Other fields of interest were painting as well as furniture and toy design.
