Regau, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Voecklabruck, alt. 429 m, pop. 5,365, area 33.99 km2, industrial and commercial town situated south of the River Ager in the Hausruckviertel region. - Day-care centre of the Lebenshilfe welfare organisation, livestock farming centre; building trade, gravel works, concrete factory, carcass rendering plant, machine and plant manufacturing, transport industry. - Parish church, Gothic core, alterations 1885-1887, neo-Gothic interior.
