Resetarits, Lukas eigentlich Erich L. Resetarits#

Resetarits, Lukas (real name: Erich L. R.), b. Stinatz (Burgenland), Oct. 14, 1947, actor, revue artiste, singer/songwriter; brother of Willi Resetarits. Studied philosophy and psychology and performed as rock singer. From 1975 in revues with the group "Keif" (W. Teuschl, E. Steinhauer); 1977 first of numerous solo programmes. Particularly popular as police officer Adolf Kottan in the television series "Kottan ermittelt" by H. Zenker and P. Patzak; numerous roles in cinema and television films. Awarded Nestroy ring in 1981, Austrian Kleinkunstpreis 1981, 1983 and 1984, German Kleinkunstpreis 1985, German Kabarettpreis (1998).
