Riehl, Walter#
Riehl, Walter, b. Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria), Nov. 8, 1881, d. Vienna, Sept. 6, 1955, politician, leading personality of early National Socialism in Austria in the 1920s. After the split in the DNSAP in June 1924 founded the German Socialist Union, was active in the Association of front-line soldiers and joined the NSDAP in 1930.
