Rodler, Andreas (pseudonym: sha.), b. Hartberg (Styria), Jan. 11, 1972, composer. Studied music education and history at the University of Vienna and electroacoustic and experimental composition, media composition and applied music at the Musikhochschule (now University of Music and Performing Arts) in Vienna. Since 1992 R. has been producing experimental works and performances; 1995 created the sound reinforcement installation on the Danube Canal and "laermeditationsraum" ("soundmeditationspace", with the sound artist GTT). Development of the exhibition "Sonosphere" in the House of Music in Vienna.
Other works: gitar - kon - re - zert, 1991 (3 solo guitars, 12
ensemble guitars); je "nach t´aime", 1993 (double
bass, zither, woodcutters, live electronic music); wenn die haiders
nicht waeren ..., 1993 (music theatre performance); im kuehlschrank
heissen die sachen laenger, 1994 (trio for large orchestra); musik
von/fuer/zu haus, 1996 (sound performance and installation). -
