Rotgüldensee#

Rotgueldensee Lakes, province of Salzburg: The upper Rotgueldensee Lake is 300 m in both length and width, and has a shore length of 1,997 m; the lower Rotgueldensee Lake has a length of 1.3 km, a width of 0.5 km and is 75 m deep. The lakes are located in the Hafner mountains (Hafner, 3,076 m) in the south-west Lungau mountain area. The lower lake is drained by the Rotgueldenbach stream, which flows into the upper part of the Mur River. The Rotguelden-Hintermuhr power plant is located south of the lower lake near the dam.
