Rungaldier, Randolf#
Rungaldier, Randolf, b. Maribor, Slovenia (then Marburg), Aug. 13, 1892, d. Vienna, Jan. 15, 1981, economic geographer. From 1954 professor at the University of World Trade in Vienna; 1936-1945 general secretary, 1966-1970 president and from 1972 honorary president of the Austrian Geographic Society. Numerous travels all over Europe; his research concentrated on the general and economic geography of Austria and its neighbouring states.
