Vorarlberger Medienhaus, leading Vorarlberg media group, headquarters and printing shops at Schwarzach (new headquarters building by E. Giselbrecht opened in 1996), headed by Eugen A. Russ; converted operations to the "computer to plate" direct printing process as early as 1993; first Austrian newspaper group to offer recycling of out-of-date newspapers. Publishes (see) "Vorarlberger Nachrichten", "Neue Vorarlberger Nachrichten" and numerous magazines.
