Sallmutter, Hans#

b. Passail bei Weiz (Styria), Jan. 20, 1945; trade unionist and national insurance official. Began his work for the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions in 1971, became head of the Union of Private Employees in 1994 and vice president of the Trade Union Federation in 1995. From 1982 worked for the Social Pension Insurance Institution of Employees and became president of the Federation of Austrian Social Insurance Agencies in 1997.
