Sattler, Klaus-Peter#

b. Helftrich (Germany), Aug. 22, 1941, composer. Moved to Vienna in 1963 (1979 took Austrian citizenship). Composes mainly film music (1970 Academy Award nomination) and light music, has written numerous jingles and introductory music for the Austrian broadcasting corporation ORF, 3sat and other broadcasting corporations. Since 1992 professor of media composition at the Hochschule fuer Musik (now University of Music and Performing Arts) in Vienna.
