Pupil Profile: in 1919 a special form was designed (by T. Stejskal) to establish pupil profiles and a decree was issued on its use for entrance exams and career guidance; subsequently introduced in Vienna and some school districts in other provinces as pupil profile files (1922-1938); from 1949 a pedagogical and psychological pupil profile file was set up for every pupil; this file was stored at the school where the pupil concerned had finished compulsory schooling (destroyed from 1973 onwards). The School Education Act of 1974 no longer provides for pupil profiles.
